Full Moon Offering xxviii

Greetings!
I’ve been away from the blog for a bit. Thanks to ALL of you for checking in and making comments!!
This months “Full Moon Offering” is a set of cards I did for a session of “WEREWOLF”.

A couple of times a month we meet with our church youth group and do an activity or project. Last Wednesday our PLAN-A activity had fallen through and we needed to come up with something to keep a group of teenagers busy for an hour. I had two sheets of black paper, a white pencil and 20 minutes. So I cranked out this rudimentary set of cards for the PLAN-B substitute activity.

My version of the deck contains:
-2 Werewolves
-1 Seer
- 9 cranky villagers
These needed to be finished in a big hurry so I went with a super loose style and tried for fun images.
Look up the game on the internet. Its fun and easy to play. There are some very nice, published versions of the game available but we don’t have a game store near by so I had to improvise.  Hope you enjoy these.
Thanks for stopping and looking!!

Full Moon Offering XXVII

Greetings!
‘Back again with another Full Moon Offering.
This is the sketch and finished art submitted to Mike Guptil the Tournement Organizer for MtG Grand Prix Lincoln, NE.
He offered me the opportunity to do the art for the events give-away playmat. The theme was left open so I decided on a contest between two of the creatures that I’m better known for in the gaming community.
This piece was a lot of fun to do and I truely appreciate the warm reception that it received!!

Mandrill-Pizza-TIKI

This is what happens when I’ve got pink, yellow, blue and green hi-liter pens, a black ballpoint and a back row seat in a church meeting,
Mandrills have always been a favorite of mine and I’ve recently began to appreciate the various forms of TIKI art. (Pizza is, of coarse, the staff of life!)
This scrawl is the latest in an endless series of “church doodles” that have helped me maintain a semblance of attentiveness through many hours/years of spiritual instruction.

Thank you for looking!

“Gnome Warlock and Felbeast” cry for help!

This was a piece for the World of Warcraft CCG from a couple of years ago.
‘Not sure if this art was ever used on a card. If you’ve seen this card in the game, please let me know. I’d love to get a look at it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sliver Queen Playmatte

This was a commissioned playmatte featuring the “Sliver Queen” from the Magic: the Gathering “Stronghold” expansion. This was done using Sharpie pens and acrylic paint.
Sorry for the low resolution picture!
Thanks for looking!

Harpy for the “Clout” game

This was a piece created for the “Clout” game. The art had to bend and squeeze to fit a template that was printed on a poker chip sized pog.
So here is my take on the bird women from mythology.
Thanks a trillion for looking!

Pirate with a sword and rope

This is an old 1/4 page illo for a Dungeons & Dragons book.
No big deal, just something a bit different.
Thank you for looking!
