Have a great month and THANK YOU for looking!
The snow is flying this evening–probably for the final time this season. The Vernal Equinox is days away. As the blizzard ends tonight, Crom, Ymir and the Wendigo will withdraw for a time. The wind will change from an iced blade to a bellows-driven furnace.
To honor the passing of winter, I’ve pulled out a few pieces that were done with the northern cultures in mind.
Greetings! ‘Hope you are having a great March. Winter is slowly letting go of the landscape and there is a smell of green on the wind. Tonight, we were outside burning some old papers and wood. An owl was hooting in the trees, and out in the field a fox or coyote started barking as the top edge of the moon crested the eastern horizon. Owl, wild dogs, fire and a full moon. A good start for spring.
For this month’s Offering I found a few more obscure pieces from the past.
Greetings!
Happy full moon Valentine’s Day.
Here are a few old pieces that I ran across in my digging and sorting.
These were all used as covers for some “Werewolf the Apocalypse” meets “Dead Lands” publications back in the late 90’s. Time is always short so I’ve never had time to read the material, but if memory serves, I think the guy getting his ribs rearranged in the middle piece is an undead, hero type. So he lives through the rough handling from the werewolf.
The views and comments are ALWAYS much appreciated!
Thanks for looking!
Greetings and happy Super Moon!
Last month’s “Cry For Help” post yielded some VERY helpful information.
Many thanks to all who posted comments, theories and links.
Also, last month, Laughing Hyena asked about some old images that were sold on my ebay store as Rage prints but did not exist as cards. I decided to use her question as an FMO “request.” So, this month’s offerings are more unused RAGE CCG art.
This is “Cyber-Wolf.” Produced in 1999, I’m not sure which set it was to be used in, but Laughing Hyena’s reference to a “Project Twilight” sounds hauntingly familiar.
The “Honor Roll Student.” Produced in 1995, this was to be a Victim card in the Wyrm expansion.
This last piece was not a request but shared the same destiny and fate as the above Student.
The “Professional Athlete.” Produced in 1995, this was to be another victim card in the Wyrm expansion.
As always, you have my undying gratitude for your interest in my work!!
Thanks also to José Rojas for the unbelievably helpful and cool link to ALL the Rage cards!
